Membership in The Hymn Society
Becoming a Member
You are invited to join North Americas only organization devoted solely
to the development and promotion of congregational song.
Throughout the United States and Canada, people of all denominations,
races, and cultures benefit from the annual conferences and workshops sponsored
by The Hymn Society. We learn from and are inspired by
The Hymn,
the quarterly journal. Hymn Society members are increasingly aware
of the need to promote the appreciation and use of hymns in our own worshipping
communities. The Hymn Society has something to offer everyone who
is engages in the process of determining what and how a congregation will
sing. We include:

cantors will find that the publications and the annual conferences provide
practical information, stimulating experiences, new ideas, and valuable
research to enrich the singing of their congregations.
